"We stand on the shoulders of giants." Robin Bawa is that giant for the South Asian hockey community. The kid from Duncan, B.C. was the first player of South Asian descent to play in the National Hockey League.

Bawa would go on to play 61 NHL games & 785 total professional games in his hockey career, but his contributions go well beyond his play on the ice: Bawa helped launch the hockey dreams for the next generation of South Asian kids.

This shirt gives Robin Bawa his flowers & commemorates his historic first game in the NHL on October 6th, 1989, as the Washington Capitals took on the Philadelphia Flyers.
